Question: What is the difference between the Tiger Lot and economy Lot? Answer: The Tiger lot offers the following advantages: closer proximity to the terminal, curbside drop-off for passengers and higher frequency of shuttles. Question : Is there a discount for handicap patrons? Answer: The airport offers a daily rate of $6.00 per day, in the parking garage for all customers that possess either a hanging placard or handicap license plate. This discount is obtained by visiting a cashier booth. The pay stations do not have the capability to recognize a discount of this nature. Question: Do I have to make a reservation to park? Answer: No, it is not necessary. The only lot that currently offers a reservation program is the Tiger parking lot. The reservation program proves extremely useful during peak travel seasons (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break). Aside from these peak travel seasons, the lots normally do not reach capacity. Question: My car battery is dead, can someone help me? Answer: Yes. The airport has a contracted wrecker service to assist with jumpstarts, lock-outs, tows, etc... The fees vary depending upon the service needed; however, a jump start for a customer parked in long term parking or in the employee lot would cost $12.00. Customers that are parked in the garage do not pay; this service is complimentary.
