INzone is Central Indiana's foreign trade zone - a national economic incentives program designed to enhance foreign trade. Products that enter INzone may not be subject to U.S. Customs duties until they're released for use in the United States. If goods come into the INzone and are then exported outside of the U.S., they may never be subject to U.S. Customs duties.

If you do any sort of business internationally, whether you're a large company or a smaller operation, INzone can save you time and money. Bring your goods into INzone, and you can work with them in almost any way imaginable-while delaying, reducing, or even eliminating import tariffs.

INzone_masthead_logo.jpgThe Indianapolis area provides ideal distribution advantages to manufacturers, cargo and freight forwarders or any company having shipping and receiving requirements.

Indianapolis International Airport is home to the second largest FedEx operation in the world (second only to the Memphis headquarters). Additionally, the United States Postal Service Eagle Network Hub is located at Indianapolis International Airport.  Due to the close proximity of these hubs, INzone users have a longer, more flexible shipping day for worldwide distribution of mail, cargo and freight.  With these logistical advantages, it is not surprising that Central Indiana is home to 18 designated subzones.
