INDY 500 PARK AND RIDE SERVICE
IndyGo (the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation) will once again provide their park and ride service on Sunday, May 25 for the 2008 Indianapolis 500.

—  The cost is $15 for a round-trip ticket from Indianapolis International Airport to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Children five and under ride free. Cost does NOT include parking.

—  IndyGo service from the airport to the track will begin at 9 a.m. It will end three hours after the official end of the race.

—  The airport boarding locations at the International Arrivals Building (Pierson Drive) or in front of the main passenger terminal on the lower level drive.

—  Downtown boarding locations include IUPUI (parking lot at corner of Michigan & Blackford) and the corner of Illinois & Market Streets.

—  Tickets are available at all four boarding locations or in advance at the IndyGo Customer Service Center located in the City Market at 222 East Market Street in downtown Indianapolis. No will-call, phone, or advance Internet ticket sales will be offered.


GENERAL INFORMATION
IndyGo offers 30 fixed daily bus routes to all Marion County townships, major Indianapolis attractions, shopping malls, hospitals, downtown areas, and other locations.

All scheduled bus service to and from the airport departs from the IndyGo bus shelter located outside the passenger terminal on the lower level courtesy vehicle island near the Air Tran baggage claim.


DOWNTOWN / AIRPORT SERVICE

—  IndyGo's Green Line Downtown / Airport Express route provides non-stop service from the airport to convenient locations near major downtown hotels and the Indiana Convention Center. Green Line service runs daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Cost is $7 per trip.

—  IndyGo's Route 8 provides non-express, fixed-route service from the airport to downtown via stops along Washington Street. Cost is $1.50 per ride.

— For rush-hour commuters, the Commuter Express from Fishers and Carmel to downtown Indianapolis is offered Monday through Friday at a cost of $2 per ride.

Day passes for all fixed IndyGo routes throughout Indianapolis are available for $3.50.
