Journalists, reporters, producers, photographers, and other media representatives are welcome at Indianapolis International Airport.
When you need accurate, timely information about the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA), Indianapolis International Airport (IND), Eagle Creek Airpark, Mount Comfort Airport, the Downtown Heliport, Metropolitan Airport, Hendricks County Airport's Gordon Graham Field, or other IAA properties, please contact us.
NOTIFICATION & MEDIA CLEARANCE Please notify IAA's media relations manager by phone or e-mail before you arrive at the airport for live remotes, taped broadcasts, passenger interviews, stand-up pieces, or to capture B-roll footage.
In order for us to fully inform security, parking, and other personnel about your visit and its purpose, please provide the following information:
— Date and estimated time of your arrival — The number of individuals in your crew — Anticipated locations for interviews and reports — The topic on which you are reporting
Please remember:
1. You are welcome in all public areas inside and outside the terminal, including ticket counter areas, baggage claim, the food and retail areas, parking lots, other public locations.
2. If you have a news release or media advisory issued by or on behalf of the Indianapolis Airport Authority, contact the individual(s) listed on the release to arrange an interview or request additional information.
3. Always carry your employer-issued identification and a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, military ID, or U.S. passport).
4. Parking for media trucks, vans, SUVs, and other vehicles is available in the limousine parking area in the surface lot northeast of the parking garage and/or on the top floor of the garage.
5. For detailed information, comments, or on-camera interviews regarding a specific airline, please contact that airline's corporate communications or media relations department.
RESTRICTED AREAS Unescorted and/or members of the media are NOT permitted in the following areas:
— Post-security checkpoints, concourses, and other secure areas in the terminal and other airport facilities.
— All airside and other areas inside security fencing, including aircraft operating areas or AOA.
— Any airport space, offices, facility, and areas leased by a tenant or business partner, including shops, restaurants, aircraft hangars, and ramps without their express permission.
— Any individual or departmental administrative office and/or work area not considered public space without invitation or express permission.
TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (TSA) Media access to any area, property, or facility on or at airport facilities owned and operated by the Indianapolis Airport Authority may be restricted at any time by airport officials or the Department of Homeland Security 's Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) officers and personnel.
In the event of local or national security breaches, heightened security alrets, security threats, and/or related incidents, TSA and airport officials will work together to respond to all media inquiries and requests.

REQUESTS FOR AIRPORT INTERVIEWS AND PUBLIC INFORMATION The Indianapolis Airport Authority does not accept requests for interviews or public information and related documentation by telephone. All requests of this nature must be in writing and should be directed to IAA's media relations manager.
