United Service Organization (USO) is a private, nonprofit organization that has been the bridge between the U.S. military and the American public since before the U.S. entered World War II. Their mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform.
Location: The USO office at IND is located on the lower level by baggage claim 1.
Hours: A touch of home can be found from 7 AM - 11 PM (0700-2300).
Services: Our USO office was established as a welcoming center for weary military travelers for a place to rest, relax, and enjoy a small taste of home. Services include:
– free Internet access
– cafe area with free snacks and drinks (including coffee if requested)
– television
– television with video game capability
– other entertainment: magazines, books, newspapers, movies, and cards
– area for sleeping or reading
Whether it is a quiet place to go for rest and relaxation, movies, refreshments, or a friendly face, our USO office is here to help deliver that special feeling of home to our military visitors. We welcome all military personnel and their families to stop by for a visit!

Bringing the community and the military together is what the USO is all about. For the past 66 years, the USO has been a vital component for U.S. troops and their families. The USO has been successful in its mission, supported by private and corporate donations. USO services and programs can be found at more than 120 global locations on military bases, family and community centers, and airports. There are 11 U.S. airports with USO facilities. IND is proud to be on of those airports sponsoring the USO. A big thanks goes to all of the volunteers who help make the USO a sucess!
