The Indianapolis Airport Authority and iQueue Priority Access announced they will re-open expedited security lanes for registered travelers at Indianapolis International Airport. The iQueue Priority Access program allows business travelers and other frequent fliers to pay a $169 annual membership fee for a biometric identity card that provides them expedited passage through airport security checkpoints. |

More than 30 mutual aid agencies and organizations throughout greater Indianapolis partnered with the Indianapolis Airport Authority for a two-day full-scale mock disaster training exercise held in June. The triennial exercise, which is mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration, is used to evaluate the airport's response to critical functions like incident command and control, rescue methods and procedures, and triage of injured "victims."
