The impacted area includes the stretch of I-70 that runs from I-65 on the east to I-465 on the west. Everyone is advised to allow ample time for reaching the airport, parking, and check-in.

Want nonstop service to more destinations? Support your hometown airport!

Ever wonder why there aren't more nonstop flights from Indianapolis International Airport (IND) to popular West Coast destinations? One of our top priorities is to develop nonstop flights to San Francisco, San Diego, and other locations. Our challenge, however, is demonstrating to an airline that IND flights to those destinations can be successful and sustainable over the long haul.

It's still summer...but have you booked your IND holiday travel?

Labor Day is just around the corner and it still seems like summer. But it's not too early to start booking your IND holiday travel, especially if you want to fly the friendly skies between Thanksgiving and New Year's. Travel experts across the industry say that this year not only will booking early save you money, but it might be the only way to get the holiday flight you need. Airlines have cut flights and the size of their fleets to cut costs. As a result, there are fewer seats on the market and planes will be full. So if you plan to travel during the holidays this year, our advice? Don't wait until the last minute to book your flight!
