Description:The Indianapolis Airport Authority (“IAA”), operator of Metropolitan Airport, solicits the proposals from local parties (“Offeror”) interested in leasing Metropolitan Airport property as described in Exhibit A located in the Town of Fishers, Hamilton County, Indiana for theintended use of farming/agricultural activities. Portions of the property have been in agricultural production in previous years. Additionally, some newly designated areas have been added that have not been in production.For details, see attached.

Description:Preparation required extensive coordination with the Super Bowl Host Committee and various local agencies, resulting in enhancements to all aspects of airport operations, from public safety and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) procedures to airport shopping and dining. Airport concessionaire workers, TSA agents, and all IAA employees have completed the Host Committee’s Super Service training to raise their customer service game to an even higher level.For more information, see atttached.
Description:The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) has completed final repairs of the Indianapolis International Airport’s (IND) garage canopy. The repair process included not only new, customized replacement material but also improvements to all sections of the canopy, the majority of which was not damaged in last winter’s incident when three sections collapsed under the weight of heavy snow and ice from a severe winter storm.Canopy fabric throughout the entire structure is now centrally affixed to each beam in the metal framework structure, which will ensure even weight distribution of snow or ice as well as improved load-bearing strength in each panel area.
Description:The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) is pleased to announce that the IAA has won the Indianapolis Host Committee’s 1st and Green Challenge in the Government category. The IAA team took first place through their everyday efforts over several months to conserve energy and water.By planting trees, carpooling, using reusable shopping bags and water bottles, and many other actions, the IAA team reduced carbon emissions by 80,161 pounds and water usage by 75,574 gallons since the beginning of the challenge.For more details, see attached.
Description:Cargolux Airlines is bringing the newest addition to its fleet, the Boeing 747-8F, to Indianapolis International Airport (IND). This latest generation of the 747 cargo aircraft will provide Cargolux with more capacity through IND to handle the region’s European imports/exports while also achieving greater fuel efficiency. The new Boeing 747-8F is 18 feet longer than its predecessor, the 747-400F, with a maximum payload capacity of 134 metric tons. Due to the aircraft’s increased size, IND is one of only 21 airports approved by the FAA toreceive the 747-8F. For more information, see attached.

All users who visit the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) site using handheld devices can now benefit from pages freshly optimized to render content on mobile platforms, including real-time flight information and details about parking, ground transportation, maps and directions, andshops and restaurants.Meanwhile, with the launch of the IND Mobile App, IND becomes one of the few airports in the U.S. with an official app. The IND Mobile App will further enhance the portable delivery of its website content for the Android, iPhone, and iPad platforms.For more information, see attached.

Description:For Indiana manufacturers exporting to Europe, the options to ship air cargo have become a little easier thanks to a third weekly scheduled all-cargo flight with regular Sunday service to Luxembourg, Europe. The new international all-cargo flight has been arranged by freight forwarder DB Schenker’s Indianapolis office and will be operated by Cargolux Airlines using Boeing 747 cargo aircraft.For more information, see attached.
