Description:Indy 500 fans looking for a fast way to get to this year’s race will again have a convenient option on race day at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). Shuttle service transporting Indy 500 fans from IND will run continuously from 8 a.m. until noon on Sunday, May 26 with return trips running for three hours after the race ends. Description:Work has begun on the much-anticipated demolition of the old terminal at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). The terminal complex includes four separate concourses and other structures built between 1954 and 1987, each requiring varying preparatory work prior to actual demolition. Description:The Indianapolis Airport Authority’s (IAA) continuous efforts to enhance the customer experience at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) – recently recognized as 2012’s best airport in North America by Airports Council International – are extending to its parking program, including the connected Terminal GarageAs part of the enhancement for customers, the IAA will also continue offering a flat $9-per-day rate not subject to any additional taxes or fees for a simplified and consolidated surface lot parking product. With customer surveys indicating that many passengers felt there was insufficient product differentiation between the Economy and Long-term lots, starting today, the Long-term Lot will be closed to new vehicles as it is transitioned to non-customer parking and overflow situations on the rare occasions when the Economy Lot is full. Description:The Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) announced today that it has selected a Joint Venture group between two locally owned companies, Johnson Melloh Solutions and Telamon, to develop a second 10-megawatt Solar Farm on Indianapolis International Airport (IND) property. Bulldog Energy Airport, LLC and Indy Airport Solar Project II, LLC will co-develop the solar farm located directly west of the phase 1 solar farm currently under construction.
