Since before the United States entered World War II, the United Service Organizations (USO) has served as a bridge between the American public and the U.S. military.
In times of peace and war, the USO provides a variety of services to servicemen and servicewomen. These services include operating airport centers offering military personnel a place of respite and refreshment when traveling.
At Indianapolis International Airport, the USO Lounge is operated and managed by dedicated USO of Indiana volunteers. It is located on the lower level of the terminal near Bag Claim 3 in Room 10T.109. Hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m (0700 to 2300); the phone is 317.241.6070. Services include:
