Jeff Mallamad joined the Indianapolis Airport Authority as General Counsel in spring 2017. Mallamad has over thirty years of experience with two Indianapolis law firms and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. At the Indianapolis law firm, Barnes & Thornburg, he counted the airport among his clients and already has a wealth of knowledge on how the IAA operates. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Mallamad was chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Group at Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP and held that and other management positions from 1987 until departing for Barnes & Thornburg in 2013. Mallamad also served in the EEOC’s General Counsel’s office in Washington D.C. from 1979 until 1986, and then briefly as the U.S. EEOC Regional Attorney in Denver, supervising federal civil rights litigation for a six-state western region. Mallamad earned his law degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law in Cleveland Ohio, where he was a member of the Law Review.
