The Indianapolis International Airport is hosting Holly Jolly Jetway featuring Santa's Arrival on Saturday, November 25 from 1 - 4 p.m.
There will be free family fun including live music, cookie decorating, crafts, elves on stilts, and more! Santa will be arriving via fire truck followed by a family photo opportunity! Join us at the Indianapolis International Airport as Santa practices his holiday route to make sure his reindeer are ready for the main event. Pictures with Santa, holiday activities including cookie decorating, DIY ornaments, coloring cards for our troops, face painting, magicians, photo booth and more are all part of the free celebration.

Does it cost to attend this event?
The entire event is free, including all holiday activities and pictures with Santa. We even validate your parking while you’re here.
What ages is this event meant for?
Our event is perfect for the entire family and all who are young at heart. Our activities, including visiting with Santa, are also accessible for all.
Why would I go see Santa the weekend after Thanksgiving?
Santa practices his route every year to make sure his reindeer are ready for the main event. As part of his travels around the world, he’s making a special stop at the Indianapolis International Airport. Plus, this gives your family a chance to see the beautiful Indianapolis International Airport recognized as the Best Airport in North America.
What time does the event start?
The event goes from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., and Santa will arrive on a fire truck on the tarmac.
What time does on-site check-in begin?
On-site check-in begins at 1:00 p.m. and will remain open throughout the duration of the event. The check-in and information tables are located across from Guest Services past the ticketing hall.
How do I register for the event?
Visit https://santaairport.trstickets.com/ to register for this event. You’ll be able to choose from three different timeframes to participate in the ACTIVITIES & PHOTO WITH SANTA from 1:15 – 2:00 p.m., 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., or 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.* If you don’t want to visit Santa, join us for the ACTIVITIES ONLY anytime between 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Is there a limit to how many people can see Santa?
The event allows 210 families to interact with Santa. The activities give families another chance to enjoy the holiday spirit. However, our holiday activities do have limits when supplies run out.
Where should I park when I arrive at the airport?
Parking is available in the terminal garage on all levels. Santa’s workers will provide a parking validation pass on-site. Please keep both your parking pass and the validation pass. Both are needed when exiting.
My child is afraid of Santa; what other activities can we participate in?
Enjoy holiday activities including cookie decorating, DIY ornaments, coloring cards for our troops, face painting, magicians,, photo booth, and more! To allow more space for families that want to see Santa, please register for the ACTIVITIES ONLY ticket.
Do I need to register for multiple tickets if I’m bringing several children or grandchildren?
No, you only need to register for one ticket. Photos taken with Santa are per family, not per child. The same applies if you’re participating in holiday activities only.
I would like individual photos taken with my children and Santa, is that possible?
To accommodate as many families as possible, photos taken with Santa are per family, not per child.
How will I know when it’s my turn to see Santa?
Through the online registration, you’ve chosen a one-hour timeframe to see Santa. Please arrive to the airport prior to your given timeframe and visit the on-site registration. You’ll be given a color and holiday symbol that represents when you’ll see Santa, and Santa’s helpers will help direct you when it’s time for that color grouping to see Santa.
How will I receive my family’s photo with Santa?
Photos with Santa are printed on-site, and you’ll be able to take it home with you after the event. Also, photos will be shared on the airport’s Facebook page, per the Terms & Conditions and Photo Release.
What if my child needs additional accommodations for this event?
The Indianapolis International Airport is ADA compliant, and the stage to see Santa includes a ramp for easy accessibility. Also, a sign language interpreter will be available along with other language services.
What if I don’t want my child’s photo posted on Facebook?
The airport will abide by the Terms & Conditions and the Photo Release. If you prefer not to have your child’s photo posted online, please go to the Information Table on-site at the airport to sign a waiver.
I’d like to make a day of it, what additional amenities are available at the airport?
Grab a snack from Just Pop In! or a coffee from Starbucks. There’s plenty of food choices for your whole family to enjoy with Chick-fil-A, Qdoba, McDonalds, Café Patachou, and the 500 Grill. Want to start your holiday shopping early? Visit LIDS for your favorite sports gear or Brickyard Authentics for racing memorabilia. Also, take a moment to enjoy the many art displays located around the airport.
